Hostel
Located in central London, The Green Man in Paddington is only a 5 minutes walk to Paddington Station and on the doorstep of Edgware Road Station, with trains taking you to all local attractions and famous sites throughout London.
Hostel
Living life like a London local. The Exmouth Arms, located 5 minutes away from Euston Station and Euston Square Station gives you the opportunity to mingle with London locals.
Very friendly and warm welcome!
Stay of 3 nights in mixed room and international, of 9 people
Have a nice stay in London
Very nice, nice staff, and very clean
great hospitality, great location!
Really very well located.
Very basic and expensive
Good location
Bonne auberge mais faites attention aux puces de lit !
Très bien placé juste à coté de l'entrée du métro !
It is centrally located and it is clean all right. Free breakfast, as long as you get there before 10 AM.
Light breakfast included. Downstairs showers are nice. You can eat your own food in the bar. Grand for one night.
Bien situé!
It is very close to the tube station edgware road and this is great. It is really in a pub and tough i first thought it could be more something like a pub, I must say it is a proper pub where you get discount as hostel guest.
The staff. They were as helpful as possible under the circumstances.
Good location (next to tune stop) and fun atmosphere.
All they say about the pub having a good range of drinks is true and it can sometimes be a lively and sociable atmosphere. The gourmet burgers are also delicious and worth it if you can afford to pay almost as much for a burger as for your bed for the night.
Pub below is fairly nice.
the location is great and it's nice to have a bar to be able to mingle with other guests and locals alike.
Nothing
Great pub downstairs - burgers and good beer
Clean rooms
decent place to stay
I liked staying at the Green Man because it was fine for my stay. It was cheap, location was really good, people were friendly and sociable and also the staff were helpful, in particular Sam and Jack.
Also, at the bar they serve burgers, and some nice beers.
It is also a really good hostel to meet people, as the bar is quite sociable and people makes friends there easily, so a good hostel for people traveling.
Generally, a really good stay and I would not hesitate to stay at the Green Man again, or recomend it to a friend.
Thanks,
Paul
Only breakfast
Amazing!! The hostel is located right next to the Waterloo tube station, so getting around is extremely easy. The staff is wonderful, they always recognized and said hello as I walked into the bar, remembering that I was a patron of the hostel. They are all super easy going, very helpful with any questions, and if there's a problem upstairs they immediately leave the bar and help fix it to the best of their ability. They were also super welcoming, inviting everyone out on the town as if we've been friends for years. The building had an old world charm, like an antique house. The showers get very hot and there are plenty to go around. Also, the bar! They have an amazing selection of local gin and beer, and the food is DELICIOUS. I wouldn't have eaten anywhere else if I wasn't trying to get a taste for the city of London as a whole. Plus, 10% off if you're staying at the hostel, what more could you ask for!
Sympa
Staff is very friendly and helpful
Everything is kept very clean.
Fabulous place, easily better than other hostels for the same price. Fun and helpful staff and the food is just as excellent. Defiantly can't say no to free WiFi and 10% off everything that you can buy (Food, Beer, Coffee etc).
Location is pretty good, just up the road from Marble Arch Station and the corner of Hyde Park, easy route to places like Madam Tussauds or other big stations such as Kings Cross or Paddington. Plus it is on the Circle, District and Bakerloo line which takes you in and out of the best spots in London.
I have extended my stay quite a few times here and would no doubt re-book this hostel the next time I need to stay the night in London. Not only that but I have also recommended the Green Man to a few of my friends not just to stay but also the pub itself as they have a good selection alcohol.
Location and the pub below
Central and cheap, little space.
Good atmosphere and location.
Awesome love the 24 hour bar and great people and staff!!
Very good
The location and the price is good.
Very convenient and central location. The pub had great food and a almost decent pint of Guinness.
Good personal experience
Good stay
Really nice
The wifi is secure and it's close to the Bakerloo line.
can do better ...
Very good location, maybe toilets and showers could be more cleanness (but it caused by guests who left dirty..) and breakfast more plentiful.
but for the prize was good!
the pub was amazing and the new showers at first floor are very fine!
Triple bunks, no floor space not enough facilities for guests
cheap, free breakfast, free laguage storage
Nothing to do with the pictures. Bad reception at a late hour I agree, but that's not a reason when there is someone for that. The bathrooms are rooms (not washed for 3 days) As for the room ... Nothing to do with the photos of the site. 8 beds in a room of 15 m2. Moldy wall, dust and curtain falling ... Fortunately we were 7 and we know each other. The pub is to be avoided. Pity the location is good. One smile, that of the blonde waitress the day we left.
The location of the hostel indicated by the app is the opposite of the actual location of this hostel. Result: surprise when arriving at the airport, and change of program at the last moment !! I will no longer use this youth hostels app
Pros: the location is good, easy access, quiet at night, the bar is nice and we have discounts being resident. Cons: The heater did not work in our room, only one bathroom with the toilet in it for a whole floor. A bathroom is half floor unheated and in a rough state. The bathroom on our floor (at the top), little heat (the problems of English and simple glazing), mold on the ceiling and on the walls, no place where our clothes hang during the shower. No cooking possible since the pub is downstairs, so obligation to eat outside or at the pub (even if the food is good). I thought the place is nice, but it's not really a hostel, it's more like a pub with rooms for rent.
Value for money
Perfect
Hostel
Located in the most beautiful and charming neighbourhood in London, Astor Hyde Park is one minute from Hyde Park and surrounded by some of London’s greatest museums including the Natural History Museum, Victoria & Albert and Science Museum. The hostel is a short walk from London’s best transport connections, including direct trains to Heathrow Airport and all of London’s attractions. If this weren’t enough the iconic pubs, excellent shopping, amazing restaurants and occasional celebrity sighting
Hostel
Located in the district of south-west London, The Crown is situated on the lively Lavender Street in Battersea. As well as an extensive bus network nearby, which connects the area with much of south and central London, The Crown has three tube stations and two railway stations walkable distances away.
very good service, clean and welcoming hotel. There is a lot of floor and no elevator.
Very friendly hostel, very welcoming staff, very good value for money. Very well placed, very chic neighborhood!
Great hostel, cheap and located in the very chic area of Hyde Park
The hostel is good, the staff is welcoming and attentive. The place is well maintained and the hostel is very well placed. I recommend this hostel.
I take advantage of your message to inform you of my request that I did not manage to make from your site. It turns out that I misread the total information about the hostel, especially that it did not accept young people under 16 and I was traveling with my 19 year old daughter and 15 year old niece. I realized this just before boarding the plane and I sent an email to the hostel asking if our first night at least could be kept. I did not get an answer but once in London, it turned out that we could not live there. I would like, if it seems right to you, to be reimbursed for the deposit of about 50 euros that I had paid on your site. The person at the hostel Astor Hyde Park with whom I spoke, told me that it was to you directly that I had to address my request. I know that this questionnaire is not the place to make such a request but having not found a way to do it differently, please, if you agree, please forward this request to whom , thanking you in advance. Please receive my respectful greetings PS I check an artificial evaluation which you will not take into account to send you my message
Very very well located hostel, close to several historical monuments of the city, as well as public transport (metro and bus), very friendly and attentive staff, reduction possible on certain attractions with this hostel (especially for comedies musical). Large room with clean and well maintained bathroom. Possibility of buying food and storing food in one of the fridges our provisions in the kitchen. Quiet and well decorated living room with a television available (with Netflix). Everything to make the trip very pleasant, I recommend.
Very good
very helpful staff and all rooms were very clean. There is a lovely atmosphere in this hostel.
EVERYTHING
Very centrally located and close to the tube and to buses. Literally steps away from the national history museum, and Kensington gardens, only five minutes from Hyde park. The staff was absolutely amazing. On my birthday they knew that I was sad being away from my family and friends and they bought me a cake and sung me happy birthday! Everyone was so cool and laid back there were events every night and the amenities were great.
I had to leave early and the manager was totally accommodating. The hostel is located in a super nice area of town surrounded by luxury.
They have free adapters and free locks available for deposit and movie nights in the lounge. Kitchen was huge and fully stocked
The stairs did give me a bit of a workout lol but the place was absolutely amazing I will never stay anywhere else in London but Astor Hyde park. This place met and exceeded any hostel expectations. It was an amazing time
Staff was incredibly helpful and friendly and amenities/service offerings were great.
Attention it does not accept the old (over 35 years) and does not refund the expenses of r
Gorgeous period building. Cozy common room and kitchen.
most
It was greate every one was friendly and very helpful.
I will come back next Year again.
Zu Deutsch:
Richtig klasse, sehr freundlich, sauber, Selbst Bettzeug gibt es was bei unseren deutschen Hostels ja nicht selbstverständlich ist.
Staff is great. Beds were comfy, hostel was clean and comfy and its pretty well located. Also the building is beautiful.
Very friendly and helpful staff.
The building itself is beautiful. It is the cleanest and nicest hostel I have ever stayed in, in London. It has a few very large homely communal areas, and a huge kitchen. A perfect place to have pre drinks and hang out with people before a party. Maunel, the guy who worked on reception, was extremely hospitable and lovely- great energy and made us feel happy as soon as we arrived! The location is also amazing- close to bus stops and the palace gardens which are stunnning! I will be back & will most definitely recommend.
Great location and staff were really helpful
Everyone was very friendly and helpfull, hostel is near center, very good localisation
Great atmosphere, free breakfast, friendly staff, it's easy to meet people in the common areas, kitchen, nice area of town, close enough to the Tube or the 52 Bus
The people who work ther and the common areas are amazing!
The staff is very friendly through and through.
The location is perfect and the staff is really friendly!
big screen :)
This hostel is really nice place to stay. I really appreciated the stuff - helpful, friendly, always there if you need them. The pleace is clean in the rooms, living areas, washrooms... Also the location is great - nice and safe street. I liked the atmosphere and I will come back for sure.
Great location, helpful staff, clean rooms
Astor is always a good value, they have everything a traveller can need
VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL STAFF. BEAUTIFUL HOSTEL.
The staff were very friendly, and the hostel itself is very beautiful. Everything was clean and as described and there were nice, big open communal areas. The wifi works, and breakfast had a good selection. Really great location (a few minutes from the Natural History Museum and South Kensington tube station).
The twin private ensuite was really very good: the room was bigger than expected, there was a TV and it felt a bit like in a hotel.
Everything was great, I could not ask for more.
Bathroom, Room, Location, Quiet in the night
Great location, helpful staff. Breakfast is ok (don't expect too much), and the kitchen is well equipped.
good
Awesome !
Extrêmement sale et foutage de gueule
Plutôt pas mal !
Affordable
Very friendly staff and good location
nice and clean
For young adults
Friendly atmosphere and easy to make friends.
Very disapointed !
Nice pub, clean and comfortable.
Really good area, and very close to Clapham Junction train station.
My flight was delayed so I arrived in the middle of the night, but there was still someone in reception when I arrived who checked me in. The bed and bedding was very clean. Includes breakfast, so great value for money. Good location, easy to find. The road seemed quiet and safe at 2am.
The area is very nice with many things to do and close to supermarkets
Not a great experience...
Top to spend 2-3 days in London alone or with friends qques
The hostel is situated above a pub, which creates a nice atmosphere. The bus stop is just outside the hostel and it is therefore easy to get to/from the centre of London. The neighbourhood seems safe and as two young girls we did not at any point feel intimidated, scared or discriminated - also at night. There are several shops (including an ASDA and McDonalds) very close by, which we thought was really nice. The hostel is in zone 2 and it is therefore quite cheap to get to the centre with either bus or the tube. In general, the hostel is great value for money.
Free breakfast. The pub bellow/
The description is accurate and we made contact before to make further enquiries and the staff we so helpful, even reducing the amount of people to booking was so well received and the guys were so polite , I would recommend this accommodation.
I liked that they had free breakfast. And that it's very cheap and their workers are very nice
I do not recommend
Very clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful
Helpfull staff, breakfasts included, low price:)
Definitely a lot cleaner that I expected it to be, I liked that there were private and shared bathrooms as well. Perfect location with a bus stop right out the front + buy 1 get 1 free burgers
Easy to find
The location is very great
Lovely atmosphere down in the Pub
Location,luggage room downstairs.
Hostel very friendly, friendly, clean with all the necessary comfort
Cool, modern environment with friendly, approachable staff.
Incredible selection of alcohol, and, the chips they serve are some of the best I´ve had! Lovely brioche buns with the Burger too.
I have stayed at this hostel 4 times now and every time it's seems to fall into a worse state of disrepair. It's been rebranded from 'fresh' however now looks cheap and nasty. I still enjoy he atmosphere but it's really going down hill! Glad to see that they have got rid of te supermarket pizza which cost £8!! While in te supermarkets its between 2-4!!
The atmosphere at the pub downstairs was nice.
Very well
All
good value for money
forbidden to minors!
No
Nice place to crash
Everything
Rather satisfying, but a bit stuffy
Good WiFi throughout. Clean.
Nothing
Stayed for a night and it was good value. Good location as it was 10min walk from Clapham Junction, the quality of the facilities and the free breakfast was good. Staff were quite helpful. The hostel is not too far from the areas of nightlife in Clapham, either walking or by public transport.
The bedding was very clean and so too were the showers. Unfortunately there is an odour in some of th bathrooms due to damp.
Hostel
We're opposite Europe's biggest shopping mall, a direct London Underground connection to Oxford Street and a short stroll from Notting Hill's Portobello Road Market.
Hostel
Located in central London we’re only a short walk from the London Eye, Tower Bridge and the London Dungeon. The London Bridge tube station and Borough Markets, one of the best and most extensive food markets in London are right on our doorstep. You can also take a stroll along The River Thames and beyond to take in St Paul’s Cathedral, Tate Modern Gallery, OXO Tower, Gabriel’s Wharf, the British Film Institute, the Southbank Centre, the London Eye and the Houses of Parliament.
....
Good value for money, room and bathroom - clean common WC, secure access with staff presence 24h / 24h, at the foot of the metro with direct line to central London, very decent breakfast included in the price of the room, access to a terrace with possibility of a barbecue (limited access for the tranquility of other guests in the evening).
A very welcoming staff, very good burgers (served with delicious sweet potato chips), varied breakfasts & breakfast. The metro is right in front and provides easy access to many areas of London. As for the atmosphere "youth hostel", we came across a period of low influx of young people. Slight disappointment that does not depend on the hostel itself.
Perfect home, very friendly and smiling staff
Location close to tube, shopping and eating options.
A perfect place to stay - luxury for hostels
Location
Great location, good for backpackers
It have it's own character.
Maybe this is a hostel for people looking for a cheap hotel... Everything is controled (Magnetic cards, lockers under bed, timed lockers on basement).
It has a free loundry.
Its a good place to leave your things and dont even touch it the whole stay
It,s clean, safe and has enough space for the number of beds offered...
the hostel is almost perfect. i would definetely come back some day. Even quite far from centre (zone 2), the location is awesome and there are good restaurants, stores and public transportation around, besides its amazing pub integrated to the hostel. The bedroom is a little small, but there's a smart locker under the bed that's pretty good and practical. Clean bedrooms and bathrooms, confortable bed and hot and good shower. all these with a great price, especially for London
All the facilities and beds were very clean.
As it is a St Christophers you know what you getting. Clean rooms, the lockers under the bed etc. It had a large common room area with a microwave and unlike Greenwich a fridge which was good, although there was plastic cutlery, no plates!
Excellent location and very good facilities.
Location
Good location and easy to find.
Beds comfortable, sufficient loos and sinks, good cage to lock up your stuff in. Good location with shopping centre next door + a Spoons
Atmosphere. Really close to tube
Amazing staff, good food and awesome pub
is not far from heathrow airport and with the central line you are in central london in a few minutes
The cleanliness and organised/tidy facillities, the friendly and helpful staff, the reasonably priced food (although breakfast is free I might add), the cool and decorative bar with lots of events such as karaoke, also the others guests were decent and I felt safe among them unlike in many other hostels. St Christopher's is in a very good location in regards to the tube (just across the road) and Shepherd's Bush is a decent and cultured area. Highly recommended, definitley visit!
Friendly staff
Very close to transportation/underground. Helpful staff. Good and varied choice of breakfast.
Great transport connection, family size of thé hostel
Nothing
The are good facility
Close to supermarkets, transport locations and very good location
There's a shopping centre across the busy road where you can park for approx. 9 pounds a day.
It was excellent
Extremely noisy for a family with children
Very welcome, despite a late arrival (2:30 am). The staff is very nice and smiling. Nice room, clean, as well as the bathroom. Nice offers for the restaurant and the bar of the hostel + musical entertainment every night. We had a great time!
The hostel is okay if you don't mind sleep in 3 to 4 tier bunk beds.
The location is pretty convenient well located in central London, walking distance to London Bridge station it is very close to the London Bridge Borough Market. There is also a bar downstairs where you can definitely meet a lot of people. The bar and hostel is often frequented by fellow travellers and youngsters so expect it to be a little bit noisy and rowdy on the wee hour of the morning.
The hostel is undergoing restoration which is a good thing considering the many negative reviews.
But you cannot beat the location of this property, you are connected to everything. Be prepared with loud music as the bar downstairs has live music up until 2AM.
Hostel
Tower of London is 1.1 km -, while Tower Bridge is 1.2 km away. London City Airport is 10 km from our hostel.
Southwark is a great choice for travellers interested in city walks, monuments and culture.
Hostel
With Victoria Station and Buckingham Palace a few minutes’ walk away, it is hard to beat to this location! Amazing 24-hour transport links to attractions, parties, airports, coaches (to the rest of the UK/Europe), and almost anywhere! Astor Victoria is the dream place for a base in London.
The excellent local markets, restaurants, pubs, vintage stores, coffee shops and galleries, all within a 15-minute walk of Big Ben, will make you feel like a true Londoner! This, combined with staff whom love
I had my computer stolen in a mixed room with 12 beds. For 10 € more the night I could have a room to 2 and more secure. It's partly my fault. The thing that bothered me the most was that the people at the front desk did not do anything, did nothing to help me, it was really cowardly and dishonest.
The property was very clean. Loved the location, very nice neighborhood, enjoyed walking. Staff were friendly and attentive. Thank you.
Clean and comfy beds, great location, nice staff, good food and location. will recommend.
People are very welcoming and helpful. The location is nice. The atmosphere is warm.
Good experience, for young people and taken by young people, which makes the stay more enjoyable. The location is perfect. Facilities somewhat old and if it would be missing something more clean. Generally good, for young people who do not care where to sleep.
To spend a night or two low-cost is fine: it is well located (near Victoria station) and the workers are very friendly and help you in whatever you need. The drawbacks are that there are not many bathrooms and showers and the cleaning can be improved. There are quite a lot of noise at night and in the morning from people who come and go.
The welcome in the hostel is very nice, the rooms are clean. Nevertheless the hostel does not have drinking water. I recommend this hostel for its great value.
Photos a little misleading, the locals are not very clean.
I recommend it
The team on site is super cool! Good information for example for activities and night outings.
this property does not accept families
Great team, great atmosphere!
Really good stay.
The hostel is really good
Its was nice to be welcommed by a helpful friendly staff member.its in a good locATION not noisy at night and very importantly room was very clean!
Convenient, nice and cheap hostel close to Victoria station
Very good location
people are friendly at the desk
friendly staff and nice athmosphere
VERY clean. Also appreciated a smaller room size and female-only rooms. Great atmosphere and staff were flexible with booking dates and deposits. I would definitely recommend this place.
Friendly staff, clean hostel with nice atmosphere)
Good location close to Pimlico, Victoria station! and cheap price. Friendly staff and free atmosphere
Location, facilities, staff
They had plenty of in room secure storage, the staff were friendly and welcoming and helpful. The common rooms, kitchen, showers and toilets were always clean.
Great range of movies and TV shows. Comfortable atmosphere loved my stay. Will definitely be staying there when I return to London
It is by far the best hostel in London. Large rooms (even most 8-bed rooms are big enough so one can still move), the beds are super comfortable. The staff is great and super friendly and helpful, the toilets are cleaned regularly - the floors of the rooms are also hoovered daily, but are often dirty nonetheless. The location is fantastic, they have everything you could wish for in case you've forgotten anything essential. Free tea/coffee 24/7 and snacks as well as fresh mint water are available at the reception.
bed and bedspreads was the best
The location is very good. Very close to Victoria Station and another tube station as well. And it is only a 15min walk to two of the main museums, and to Hyde and Green Park.
The staff was very friendly and you can borrow chargers and padlocks.
It was quiet, clean and the beds were surprisingly comfortable for a hostel.
While the location is exceptional and the facilities clean and well managed, it is truly is the staff that make this place unique. I've stayed at quite a few hostels across Europe these past two months, but this is the only one where the staff made an effort to learn my name, my story and go above and beyond to make sure I got the most out of London. As a solo traveller on my first trip to Europe this made my time in London unforgettable. If you're traveling alone the nightly activities like pub crawls, movie nights and heading out to massive London clubs makes its so much easier to meet new people!
good
Great location, helpful staff and free printing came in really useful for us having forgotten to print tickets for a gig!
Great location
Breakfast was very good considering the price
Lots of things going on in the hostel
We are very satisfied
very helpful staff, great location (close enough to Victoria station, which is very convenient) and great atmosphere. lovely hostel in every way
pretty good
Very good hostel, very friendly staff, helpful, well located, offering activities
good
cozy and comfortable :)
GOOD OPTION!
Everyone is friendly here and it's an easy going environment, staff are available 24/7
Friendly staff
Nice staff, good location
Very very good
The showers were great. And breakfast was very good, too.
Hostel
With the British Museum literally on its doorstep, it is impossible to beat this hostel’s location! Located in the very heart of Central London you are a short walk from iconic attractions like Piccadilly Circus, Trafalgar Square and Covent Garden.
It doesn’t matter if you are shopping down the legendary Oxford Street, watching a play in Leicester Square’s world famous theatre district, having dinner in China Town, drinks in Soho, or partying in the West End you are always a short walk home to
Hostel
Only minutes away from sights such as the Tower Bridge, the Tower of London and the City Hall, it's an easy walk from the buzzing nightlife of Shoreditch and next to Wilton's Music Hall; the location is just awesome for young travellers.
Well located, clean, functional
Excellent time spent in this hostel! The staff was super friendly and the place very well kept! The breakfast in the morning for £ 1 was full with bonus pancakes :) I recommend and will return!
Niquel!
No problems for two girls traveling for the weekend.
Great establishment! very welcoming !
Very well !!!

Top
Good hostel, very nice staff

It was in a quiet part of London but close to the heart of the city
Convenient location
Very nice stay!
Pleasant, well placed and good atmosphere.
Great!
Amazing location and crew !
Well located hostel, welcome
Friendly and warm
Staff are super helpful and travellers are nice that the atmosphere was warm you don't want to leave!
Location
Location.
The staff were super friendly and helpful, and the facility was perfect for a hostel. Great atmosphere and good location. Super easy to find and close to many metro stations!
staffs were very friendly.
Nothing at all this was the worst hostel I have ever stayed in.
After reading previous reviews I was doubtful about staying here. The mention of horrible staff and rats kinda got me worried. However that was not the case at the Astor Museum Inn. The staff were super helpful and friendly. Breakfast was basic, but exactly what you would expect. Anything you needed; locks, chargers etc was readily available and you were not charged, just had to leave a deposit! Highly recommend!!!
Location, location, location! Plus 1 pound breakfast was great (proceeds to charity). Was just cereal, yoghurt, spreads and toast but it did the trick. Walking distance to everywhere, close to underground stops, in a really wonderful area. Was a good ratio of guests to bathrooms, never had to wait for the shower or toilet.
Friendly stuff, wonderful position, good breakfast
Very nice place to stay, friendly staff, well located. Overall excellent experience
Fantastic location, staff were very friendly and helpful
beware this hostel does not take people over 35
My favorite address in London
The staff was super friendly all the time, they really care about helping you on how to get around london, seriously this was the best staff that I've seen in a hotel.
Excellent
In a great location, across the street from the British Museum, with easy access to the rest of Central London. Building has character, being a large, classic town house. Stayed there on two occasions, and both rooms I have stayed in have been very large with plenty of space and under bed storage.
Ideal for a London outing
Great hostel
Good atmosphere with a good location
Awesome staff, very helpful. Great location! Right next to the British Museum. The bed was comfy.
The staff were always available to help and communal areas were good for solo travellers.
Location was amazing! The staff was wonderful and the rooms were well kept and clean. Safety was great!
Clean, friendly and helpful staffmembers, reallly good location in central london!
very clean and very good stuff, breakfast on sunday was excellent
Nothing not to like! The only thing is room no 1 should have a heater cos its a bit cold at night. Other than that everything is awesome!!
It was really close to everything and there were basically all services you could think of needing during the trip.
Good location
Awesome
Very satisfied!
Very pleasant stay
Nice staff, Good Location, Good Value
Very helpful staff and very well located
Hostel well located, I recommend it !! :)
They separated us
everything
Genialna lokalizacja, skromne warunki
Auberge très bien située
The room and the service are very satisfactory. Location is a major advantage (close to Tower Bridge, catering, metro station). Prices are reasonable in relation to quality.
Excellent
I love this hostel! Easiest 10/10. Don't judge me, but I just started staying at hostels lately. Hav stayed at some, and this is the nicest one so far. Close to the subway, really clean hostel, the staff are really nice and always ready to help, breakfast is really really good and cheap. So glad found this one!
Clean hostel. Great staff, very kind and helpful. Spacious common area. Serves delicious breakfast. Reliable WiFi. Good location and price. Cozy. Will come back!
Hostel
We are a stones throw away from many major tourist attractions, such as Portobello Market, Hyde Park & Kensington Palace!
Hyde Park is 2.4 km from Hostel One Notting Hill. London City Airport is 20 km from the property.
Kensington and Chelsea is a great choice for travellers interested in architecture, monuments, shopping and entertainment.
Hostel
Located in Camden one of London's most popular areas. Whether you're a rocker, cool kid, metalhead, hippy, vintage queen or muso, you'll find something to delight you in this fun part of North London.
The hostel is very nice, well located, outings and event are organized every day, first time hostel and I am conquered.
Good!
Cool staff, good atmosphere
Hostel
We are in South East London, 1 minute walk from New Cross Gate and New Cross overground train stations. Our location is very convenient if you’re visiting London to attend a concert or event at the O2 Arena.
We’re located in New Cross, an area with an eclectic population that makes arts and music thrive. The area is covered with local pubs, cafes and restaurants for all tastes. With great transportation connections, we’re less than minutes walk from New Cross Gate and New Cross overground.
Hostel
Less than 500 meters from Camden Market, the Smart Camden Inn Hostel is located in Camden’s pubs and clubs district. Camden Town Underground Station is a 5-minute walk away and provides direct access to London city center. The Jewish Museum, Regents Park and central London are all within 15 minutes’ walk. London Zoo is less than a 20-minute walk from the Smart Camden Inn hostel
Nice hostel for people passing through
Hostel not far from the center but extremely bruyantr
super
Location
Pleasant stay with friends
There was a bathroom in the room as well as another outside and whilst small, both were perfectly adequate. Breakfast is included which is damn good value for money. Located between new cross and new cross gate so you have a choice.
We liked the friendly staff and their willingness to help us with everything we needed. It is also great that breakfast, linen and towels was included in the price. The neighbourhood was nice and the pub below us did not bother us too much.
Neatness and friendliness.
/
Noisy, not very clean, does not fit the pictures
Well... the hostel looks good from the outside. And the staff is friendly.
Staff and cheap
Everything! The staff was really nice and helpful, you get free breakfast and wi-fi, tea and coffee is available for free 24/7, there's a TV in the breakfast room with a lot of channels, it's close to much, the room gets cleaned everyday, my room had it's own toilet and shower and the bed's was quite comfy actually. So not much to complain about! You get value for your money and I be happy to stay there again soon.
Good location, near train station. Good breakfast. Nice staff. As said the bar is downstairs but at the top floor we couldn't hear a lot of noise, it was fine. Bedding smelled good and the bathrooms were cleaned daily.
The guests and staff hold this place together.
BRUYANT / PROXIMITY TO TRANSPORT
Location is great! Nice and kind staff :) has everything for young people
Clean, ok rooms, basic necessities where there
The bed sheets were clean and even though I paid for a mixed room (a bit less), I was put in a single-sex room. The room was on the second floor, so even if it was a Friday and there was a gag downstairs at the bar. you couldn't hear practically anything from upstairs. Breakfast was served earlier than 8. I would definitely stay there again.
About this properry I liked the atnosphere and the staff. Here I met interesting people and the staff were friendly.
Good atmosphere
I was in a 4 bed ladies only room and I felt safe enough. Kitchen has a kettle, microwave, toaster, fridge, washing up facilities. You can get a locker and towels. Really basic but good location and value for money.
The staff were very friendly and helpful and you get good value for your money!
The friendly staff. The place was as described. Beds were comfortable. Room was clean when I checked in.
It was close to the stations, it was nice to have kitchen facilities and the local park is awesome for Parkour training :)
The friendliness and the atmosphere and the pub downstairs was great to meet people.
I liked the hostel location, the closeness of bus and overground stations. Internet and towels for free, breakfast included, clean rooms - the best money can buy for a busy and low budget traveller.
First and foremost, the proximity of this hostel to downtown London, Greenwich, and two Tube stops make it a very convenient place to stay. It's also very reasonably priced. I stayed in a six-bed room which was cleaned every morning, and there were three shared bathrooms on the third floor. There was also a shared kitchen with plenty of cooking implements. Staff were almost always available at the "front desk" (more of a closet, really) and were very helpful.
We had an ensuite bathroom which made it much more convenient.
Beds were comfortable and relatively new.
Very convenient location, near takeaways and supermarkets. Its also just a 1 minute walk from the nearest tube station. The Atmosphere is also good, a mix of longer term residents and newer backpackers. Friendly and lively atmosphere in the common room. Also has basic self catering facilities and Storage Room . The Rooms have locks and are clean and the beds are comfortable.
The location is not bad.
week passed from 7 to 14 September 2018 very very good! Warm atmosphere, staff always present, clean appointments and very high security given the number of camera haha :) I highly recommend !!!
.
Well placed!
Good, clean, friendly staff, very secure but very very compact
Auberge bien placée dans Candem, near the rue de Saint Pancras et grands axes, métr
Finally quite expensive for the service
average bof
Worst hostel I have ever stayed!!!
Poor cleaning
only positive point the situaton
Small but nice kitchen/backyard area for sitting, and the shower/toilet in the room we stayed in was clean and was in good order - he shower worked very well.
Great location and breakfast is very good. Some staff friendly. Rooms and bathroom small but enough storage space and hooks available. Also nice little terrace in back of hostel.
The property is in zone 2 and surrounding by shop, restaurant and others local amenities
noisy and a little creepy, ok staff, top location
Public places are kept clean
location is good.
Well located
noisy hostel and tiny room.
Three house keepers keep the place very clean, they are very pleasant and people need to talk to them more. The included breakfast is a bonus.
The breakfast was good, outdoor area is nice & having a big tv in the common room which everyone can see was also good. Curtains around bunks is great, but the top bunks in my room didn't have them. An ok hostel, but nothing special - if I'd just been there a couple of nights I think I would have been fine, but a week was too long.
It's in Camden Town.
Not far away from Underground Camden Town and from the Camden Market.
Short way to shops.
Very clean throughout. Provide en-suite dorm rooms. Hairdryer, iron etc available. kitchen always clean. Management dealt well with the problem that we had.
Very average but great location
no luck with a roommate very long night!
average but locate at easy excess
It's dirty, and staff are ignorant. AVOID !!!
nothing
Very central, no curfew, secure lockers (with fee). Not bad for a short stay but 2 nights was all we could take.
clean, great location, helpful staff
Close to the market, the metro, the bus. The neighborhood is fascinating. People are fantastic. The staff is good-looking, helpful. The place is clean, the breakfast is good, the atmosphere is good. Rooms and beds are tolerable.
clean toilets
Clean. Helpful staff. Surprisingly quiet considering its location. Good, central location. Comfortable. A good place to relax and sleep after a busy day.
It was so close to Camden lock it was unreal, there's a really friendly atmosphere, excellent value for money.
Location
It's location near the Camden Town tube stop.
In all honesty, there wasn't much we liked. Have stayed in 3 hostels in London in last week and about 10 in Italy and France over last 5 weeks and this one was the worst we stayed in. The location was good and the hostel was secure but aside from that there wasn't much to like.
Very close to Camden town, the kitchen cooking facilities were very good, bathroom was clean, free wifi, the beds were comfortable and I don't think there was a curfew so you can come back late and easily go straight up to your room and perish after a night out!
You can check in at very late hours.
You get what you pay for. The location is great but the facilities are average.
Hostel
The London Waterloo Hostel, one of London's best loved and best located hostels. Our team are on hand to ensure every traveler has a uniquely memorable stay and a fantastic London experience. We offer a great location in Lambeth ,Zone 1, only 15 minutes walk to Big Ben and Westminster Abbey. There is a bicycle docking station around the corner and a 24-hour bus stop at the end of the road. Lambeth North Tube station is only a five-minute walk from the hostel.
Hostel
We’re moments away from the famous Shoreditch, London’s gritty centre for progressives and urban art lovers, as well as a bustling Brick Lane and Old Spitalfields Market - the place to go for all your vinyl, vintage and international street food! Not only that, but our St Christopher’s Inn Liverpool Street is just a stone’s throw from the city’s exclusive terrace views – from Heron Tower to the mammoth Gherkin, this part of town offers every cocktail recipe imaginable!
Despite the pleasant nights, the hostel is in very bad condition .. Sleep at midnight, standing at 7am to avoid staying longer in this hostel. Breakfast is acceptable (fresh apple juice, milk ('' normal '' or soy), orange juice (it did not seem to be put a fridge ..), 4 cereals and toast toasts). I still wonder if one of the people who held the reception spoke English well .. Certainly we are not 100% bilingual but we used simple words, sentences simple story to make us understand but as soon as we spoke to him in English (gently and articulate well) we had to systematically repeat several times, see to mimic to make us understand (which is not nice when we want to make efforts in English .. We saw two other people to The hostel was very friendly, quiet and polite, however, the hostel is extremely well placed for easy walking to see Big Ben and the surrounding area, and transportation (bus and metro) is also 5 minutes away.
good welcome
Good reception, impeccable bedding and nice breakfast !!
Not far from the center, good reception and clean! Perfect for a short getaway to London
Pleasant stay for a few nights in London
The common area was nice! The coaches look infested with God knows what, but the tables and chairs are super nice!
good location and attractive price
The lobby area, we could choose a movie and just watch it on the coach when it started raining outside. There were also books, computers and a pool table.
The price was very compatitible considering the location. We walked every day beside the river seeing Londons most popular attractions.
The breakfast was included! We were served cereals, müsli, toast, tee and coffee, a great way to start a day!
The Atmosphere was peaceful
Location ok for exploring London. Reading lights over beds.
Very good location
Great location
good value for money
Good location, staff polite, glad of the all female dorm option. Clean and had basic requirments
Good location, cheaper than our other options
Good atmosphere.
brilliant location, it was simple but had everything you could possibly need!
General perception: TOP
There was almost always a free shower and toilet. The 15-bed room I stayed in had a wall in between, so that it didn't feel like it was TOO packed. Cool people staying there! (some played guitar in the kitchen in the evening) The location is ok, but not too close to the London Eye - check the map beforehand if this is a criterion for you.:)
Enough space and kind and social environment
Location and good showers.
The location was perfect and the staff were very friendly and very helpful, overall a very clean, friendly and safe place to stay.
Everything
The hostel is clean & have everything for the basic needs. It was affordable and cozy for backpackers and travellers who wanted the best for less. This hostel is more than I expected.
I did not like anything
Great location (5 min walk from the subway), the beds are cleans and comfy, the common room was good too. Quiet hostl.

The location, the breakfast.
Great kitchen space, nice big common room. Comfortable, clean beds and room. The staff were amiable. It was cheap too, although make sure you book online in advance!
Great place
ok for a short stay
Nice!
To sleep take another hostel
Everyone staying in a hostel in a London needs to be aware that the standards are much lower than anywhere else and thus to have more modest expectations. In my twelve-bed dorm on the second floor at least, the triple bunks were much nicer than others that I have slept in in London. The sheets were white and clean, the beds were not too close (one along each wall) and with the window open the room was a comfortable temperature. The common room is not as sociable as that in hostels elsewhere, but it was quite large and better than others I have seen in London. The location is good for London: you can walk to the centre if you are not lazy. Although it could be larger and newer, the shower actually had good strength and temperature.
The fact that the staff were really friendly
Close to central London
Excellent staff and an all round great feel to the hostel. The staff were absolutely incredible, telling us what to do in the area, and were great to have a laugh with. Whilst breakfast was simple, it had everything you needed - a range of cereals and toast. At a great price, I would definitely go back again! P.S. Do the pub crawls they suggest, they were fantastic to say the least!
Location
The hostel matches the photos, no bad surprises on arrival. The owners are very welcoming and listening to us! We had a great time!
Centrally located, walking distance to tubes, there is a bar below.
Plenty of shower rooms, usb charges, comfortable beds. Staff is awesome.
The facilities are modern.
The dorm beds are equipped with readig llights, plugs, privacy screens and uggage storage under the beds for your convenience.
The location is great and the place is well maintained.
Hostel
Located in the heart of the city, we’re only a short walk from the London Eye, Tower Bridge and London’s biggest food market, Borough Market. With the hostel being 2 minutes walk from TWO tube stations, getting around the city doesn’t get much easier.
Hostel
The hotel is in great location, great food, bar down stairs, nice room and renovated bathrooms. Friendly staff too!
The hostel is very clean. There's a bar on the bottom floor. Large lockers available to safely store your luggage. Breakfast is pleasant. Worth it to spend and stay here.
Great location!
Staff Welcoming, very nice, smiling from the entrance to the kitchen. The information on the operation is well transmitted, the establishment is clean, calm. I would put a damper on the baggage deposit (super useful) that it is not well maintained and that users do not respect. Hostel ideally placed for your arrival in London.
First experience in hostel and everything went well. Unbeatable price / quality ratio for this location in London!
Great hostel with great staff. Plus a bonus: close to the St Pancras train station.
Clean, safe and close to Kings Cross station. I recommend this hostel.
petit etablissement d'une propreté exemplaire
very well
Welcoming, clean, well located, functional
very nice !
Warm welcome, clean, well placed, small, noisy at night
Pretty solid generally, decent price for London and Kings Cross is one of the best stations connections-wise. Not the most exciting area to live but also pretty safe so can't complain. Breakfast was great, particularly impressed with fresh orange juice given the watery concentrate stuff that usually gets dished out at hostels. Nice one!
Very cool !
Staff really friendly and helpful.Very clean throughout.Had few sockets per bed so had lots of sockets to charge everything up! plus reading light :)
Can do better
Excellent !
Ambiance très sympa !
Ideally close to Kings Cross (5min walk) and Euston (10/15min walk). Nice and clean, helpful staff, all you need from a hostel really!
Good bedrooms, individual lights, great kitchen, nice staff, very clean, great location!
The location was perfect - very close to many things
clean and comfortable, considering the amount of people in the hostel (i travelled during summer).
This could be one of the cheapest hostels in London, but it doesn't feel cheap. Sure the beds aren't supremely comfortable and the 18 bunk dorm is pretty squishy but it's very close to the action (5 mins walk from Kings Cross) and the breakfasts are excellent.
good location and room layout. easy to find and get around london from this location..
Personnel accueillant et auberge propre. Le séjour fut agréable.
location
Friendly staff...especially that spanish girl
Good location near KingsCross, with a lot of cheaper restaurants around.
Breakfast was good
Excellent location close to transport links, staff very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast included for the price.
It had a very spacious kitchen/hang out area/
I really liked the sense of community with the close proximity to other guests. I liked the basement with the food and sitting areas. I also liked that a bar was offered to meet other people.
Excellent price for a great location (about two minutes' walk from King's Cross Station). Great kitchen facilities. All beds have built-in charging outlets and lights. The hostel has a funky, young vibe. Also, the duvets were nice and thick.
-Hyv & auml; location. Traveling with the Oyster card (travel card) is cheaper in the center because the crossing of the zones will cost more if it gets longer. The net works as a star on a cell phone. From the hostel there was at 10 o'clock a guided tour of the city, which was very good. -Location was good. -Wifi connection works. -Walking tour was good.
Good beds and breakfast, friendly staff and nice atmosphere.
Je recommande !
Great location
Sympathique
Communal areas were all very spacious, kitchen facilities were fantastic. The beds were comfortable and private (even though the top bunks were a bit of a challenge to get into!)
Loved everything! staff is welcoming and knowledgeable, free breakfast is def a plus. toilets and shower always clean. Cool backpackers atmosphere
Convenient location near King's Cross. Good price for facilities available
I really enjoyed the people. The employees were overall very helpful and nice, and the other people staying in the hostel were friendly and it was easy to meet people. The hostel was kept clean and orderly, which I appreciated. The kitchen facilities were more than expected, and the location was fantastic since it was so close to King's Cross. Also appreciated the showers, which always had hot water.
I liked the beds, the bathroom, free breakfast, free wifi, how the hostel looked, the 24 hour reception and the location.
Great location, only 5 mins from kings cross at pancras for all trains/tube links, nearby tesco and fast food. Rooms were clean and not too small, with lockers underneath (bring own lock) and with own socket/reading light. Free breakfast was good, standard tea/coffee with cereal/toast, and bathrooms were clean. Friendly helpful staff.
Liked the staff, chilled out atmosphere and the fellow travellers.
Good staff, good breakfast, good location.

Right across the road is the London Underground which links us to the best sites and tourist attractions such as Westminster (just a 20 minute tube ride away),
Friendly hostel with very friendly staff.
Room not clean, I found a dirty underclothes behind the bed. The heater only worked for one day or it was very cold. For breakfast, the cereal boxes are full of grime, the dishes are half done. The only good thing is the staff is friendly and available. I think you can find much better for the same price!
I love the treatment of employees, they are very attentive and helpful, other friendly, but the hostel itself has poor facilities and little cleaning, the bathrooms are very bad.
I booked 4months in advance and paid a pittance for a week for 2. In the hostel is at the height of the price, I would not have liked to pay more than 35-40 € the week by nobody for the place. The staff is quite nice but do not wait for very warm welcome! Same for questions, it will take the front and ask. The shower is very very scary! But she's pretty clean, she's just worn out. I oense that a good stroke of paint (more neat than now) would do good at this place. There is a breakfast service for £ 2! We eat at will (but it will not hesitate to ask for products that would not come out ..) If not the place is suitable for roof on the head. Do not expect a miracle when you pay 70 € The week for 2! Great location in passing, you can visit a very beautiful suburb of London, the metro to the hostel.
The workers are very friendly, the breakfast is great For 2 pounds you have what you want, although more dirty and poorly maintained rooms and the disgusting shower gets stuck and well connected to the subway
for a short stay i love this place i will have more people come here
Chambre dans l ensemble propre seul point négatif les salles de bain pas très hygienique.
The hostel is quite dirty, the owners are very rude. They told me when I arrived that the price on the website is wrong and I had to pay £ 12 instead of £ 7. I had to choose between sleeping outside or paying more. This is unacceptable. I do not recommend going to this hostel
Correct hostel for its price, friendly staff, efficient, welcoming and available. The beds were comfortable, the room clean. The hostel deserves a little refreshment, a few brushstrokes and some small amenities. The cleaning is done. Well equipped kitchen and good breakfast. The left of the travelers present (that day anyway) leaves him to be desired; garbage next to the trash in the bathroom, in the kitchen; waste not thrown on the tables and tables not washed, window of the bathroom never open (humidity stagnant hello) etc ... if everyone was attentive the common areas will be better and this may relieve d 'a weight the employees. Nice general atmosphere, other travelers too, ditto for the customers of the pub. Good experience despite the small negative points mentioned, good value for money, I will definitely return if I return to London.
Good value for money
Very good hostel
Perfect Hostel
Cheap hostel for young people tolerant to cleanliness
The first impression is the most important and it decided for my good opinion. The girl at the front desk (Velta) is very nice and with a smile on her face told me all about the hostel, showed me a room and all facilities. I stayed in a cheapest dorm room (15 beds), but I felt very convinient with comfortable linen and quiet guests. Most of them were using that room only for sleep puproses what I really liked and because of that I was more sure none of my wothless belongings could be stolen. The hostel offers lockers, but you've got to have your own padlock (if you don't want to overprice for the ones they offer). Ground floor (the bar) is nicely adorned, part for hostel guests is clearly separated from public area, the hostel itself is a quite place, I felt safe there. Staff were very helpful when I wanted to reach certain places, there not only gave me directions but also were happy to show me on their computer the map with actual place's localization.
What I loved the most in the hostel was localization. It is just 30 minutes walk from my job, that's why I so much regret I couldn't stay there longer than two weeks. They have plenty of showers in a very good condition, I never had to wait in a queue. There's many guests in the hostel so sometimes the floors are wet, but the staff are doing their best to keep it clean and tidy. They deserve some kind of award of cleanliness ;)
There is no real kitchen in that hostel but they have kettle and microwave oven so you can make your porridge for the breakfast and maybe sandwiches for the lunch. I wish they could have a toaster for everyday use, because bread in UK is a crap to be honest (even wholemeal is not a wholemeal bread). If you're too lazy to buy cereals and milk you can use buffet for 1.50 gbp which is not that bad if you have money to spend. They have not only bunch of cereals but also toasts with cheese or jam but of course no eggs :( (why not boil them in the kettle? hehehe).
Okay, enough of it. For me this hostel is great and I trulely recommend it to y'all. I spent there very nice time and if it would be possible I'd stay there longer. Great people, great localization and comfortable, soft and warm linen. Keep it up guys! Jesteście kochani!
nothing.
Supermarkets nearby
The staff was amazing!
Perfect for young people
Great youth hostel !!!
Great London moment
Very nice place
The position is great, the price is unbeatable, the staff is friendly and helpfull. The common area is a pub at the first floor, with a small kitchen and many tables and sofas to relax on. In the 6 beds rooms there are two triple bunk beds, a solution that leave more free space in the room than other hostels with regular bunk beds. Lockers are in the room.
Excellent value for money, nice atmosphere, clean room, good location near the Underground.
There was a bar just downstairs and the guys running at are really friendly.
Very friendly staff, cosy and peaceful atmosphere, perfect location very close to the city centre.
Cheap, good location
Well, not too far from central london.
I've stayed in many hostels over the years travelling and rate this the best for customer service and general positive vibes, super central and the bedding was fresh and clean along with the rest of the property. The staff are super friendly and most people i have met here have extended their stay.
Enjoyed my stay. The bed and the facilities were comfortable for the price paid. I would recommend this place.
Great staff and super friendly atmosphere. The hostel was a little far off from city center but only a 10 minute walk away from the underground train statoin. It was great to do sightseeing for a day, come back, and have a couple of beers in the bar area of the hostel.
I felt safe and slept well. I got what I paid for. Not expensive hostel.
Very bad
The Breakfast was cheap and good; cereals, bread for toast and vegemite spread! bananas and juice/coffee/tea. Quiet place. Staff helped with my suitcase up the stairs :)
The price is right for a place in west london.
Cleanliness and good value for money

I will not recommend it
Staff were really nice and friendly
Price is great for what you get. Has a good vibe with common area being combined with public bar. Mattresses very comfortable and rooms very quiet. Great for sleeping. Also location is in a quiet part of London but close to cute little street of shops. Awesome Starbucks near by. And close to public transport to get to centre on London.
Bar
Aengus, Justin and Piotr
welcome but the rest is catastrophic ....
not great...
Very good reception, comfortable bed, hearty breakfast.
a big correction from A to Z ...
perfect
Ideal youth hostel
Very good week
Very beautiful
Good value for money, you get what you pay for
excellent price and location
Nice environment
Perfect for young travellers
Quiet, welcoming and warm
Everything is perfect on the other hand dormitories being placed above a bar / box should not be a light sleeper.
Very good hostel with a super nice and smiling staff.
I spent a very good stay at this hostel, it only mows shelves for the top beds and a multipurpose room to meet. There is the bar but I find it too noisy!
The hostel is located at 2 metro stations so very convenient to the center. Very clean, clean done in our collective dorms that we had booked for our group, every day. Breakfast very good for the price.
Il n'y a absolument aucine raison de réserver dans cette auberge jeunesse puisqu'il ne possède aucuns atouts: loin du centre-ville, mal propre, aucun endroit pour relaxer mis a part le bar ou il faut absolument consommer pour rester.
This is a nice hostel with lots of shower rooms on each floor.
If you want to have a good night's sleep bring earplugs as the bar downstairs can get noisy at times but you wouldn't mind having a beer or two during your stay. Easy to go anywhere.
Arguably, St Christopher's Inn chain of hostel has the best location.
Easy to find close to the metro, shops and bus stop nearby. There's also a bar downstairs that provides discounts to guests at the hostel
Hostel
Good reception and good stay in Clink78. Small room of 4 where you must not be modest or want too much privacy. Bar area, very friendly kitchen and welcoming staff. Sanitary rudimentary, but enough for the stay.
I spent 3 nights in this hostel and I have no negative remark to make: the places are clean, the staff is nice and attentive, the travelers were respectful too, the decor is nice, the bar is very good. is just as much. I recommend.
In the top
I stay here every time I goes to London, and I won't change this
We were four and booked a room with its private bathroom. Besides the fact that the room is very poorly insulated (a lot of outside noise), the window panes were broken, and the cold air was ubiquitous (positive point for the duvets that were really hot). The shower in the private bathroom was absolutely not practical, too small, and we had to get in because the jet was directed outside the cabin - however we had to wait a long time under the shower. chilled water until it warms up. In the end, we went to shower in the shared showers (relatively dirty, but at least we had directly hot water). The common areas were very nice by cons, there is a good atmosphere, the morning breakfast is a really interesting option for not too expensive, and the bar in the evening is a big plus. It still remains a very decent price compared to what you can find in London, but for an extended stay, this is not necessarily the place I will recommend.
Nice place.
Ideal geographical location
Well located hostel, close to train and metro stations (10 minutes walk). Shops nearby, open very late. Nice building, good reception. Quiet environment, possibility of sleeping without much traffic noise or other. Breakfast extra (£ 2 per person) but plentiful and perfectly adequate. No padlock to close the storage boxes. The luck must be with you for the allocation of rooms! Unfortunately we have not been one of those. Our room for 4 was worthy of a broom closet at the level of the dimensions, without possibility to open the tiny window .... claustrophobes abstain !! Obligation to leave the door open to be comfortable and dispel the bad smell. At night, the room became a real oven. Unable to sleep properly, the morning we were soaked with sweat and condensation was deposited on the ground. When we reported the problem, we were told that security rules forbid opening the windows and we were given a fan. Obligation to make it work all night (with the noise that implies) but the 2 people in height did not even feel it. At the end of the second night, the fan let go and we asked to change rooms, which was done without much argument. The problem had to be known for a long time !!! Knowing the conditions, it is still inadmissible to continue to rent this or these rooms. The following nights spent in a larger room, equipped with storage space worthy of the name, and especially a large window that opened allowed us to recover and fully appreciate our stay. It is still scandalous that after our report, this room was attributed to other travelers ... sorry for them!
One downside, on the temperature of the rooms which were very high.
Bedroom shoe box for 4 people, floor showers 3 non functional. Disappointment for this accommodation, only the location is top.
I would not stay at this hostel again. Most: The staff is very friendly and gives all the information. The area is quiet, very pretty and it is close to St Pancras station and KingCross, so subway. As a young woman, I was not worried about going home alone at night. Housekeeping was done and I enjoyed the lockers big enough for suitcases in the room (think about bringing a padlock!). The building is visually pleasing, and the common rooms (reception and refectory) are pleasant. There is a nightclub in the basement, I did not feel embarrassed by this animation, even if we heard a little. Cons: In the room, the ladders of the bunk beds are not practical (see dangerous), there were no shutters in the room. We are awake by the light of day, it is inadmissible! The bathroom is tiny. I booked in a room with private bathroom so higher price which is not up to the expected comfort. The breakfast was not included. Before having the room, if you want to leave your stuff in baguagerie, there is no surveillance, we can steal them at any time or you have to pay for a secure locker (provided that our business fits in) . This is not the case for all the youth hostels I have come across. It would be nice to post a reminder to other guests: when they come home at night, they have the courtesy not to turn on the light and speak loudly if their roommates sleep. Obviously some have a lack of good manners, which is certainly not the fault of the hostel but it could contribute to better living conditions for its residents, reminding them of these rules of life as other hostels. do. Having known better, I am thinking of going to another establishment next time.
The overall atmosphere is nice, but the room I was in was not as expected: Any small, not enough places to store everyone's suitcases with a very small window overlooking a courtyard, very low brightness
Friendly welcome, very competent and helpful staff, decent hotel for London (small room), many services offered (not used), friendly atmosphere, clean, quiet and very well placed. We stayed at one night in a room of four with two very discreet unknowns. Prepared beds on arrival, cassiers (no padlocks), towels available (2.5 pounds), check-in and check-out very simple. Very well placed for Euston station (direction Harry Potter Studios) 15min walk.
We had a good stay in the hostel. The places are well appointed, decorated and well maintained. The staff is available and friendly. The rooms are functional and clean.
We enjoyed returning to the hostel in the evening despite the fact that we had sacred roommates ... But this is in no way the fault of the staff. The staff from elsewhere who is very nice and attentive to the customers. The atmosphere is very nice. The bathrooms are very clean
This hostel in London in close to the public transportation. Staff friendly and the dorms are clean.
This hostel in London is great and well located. Clean and safe. I recommend.
Très bon séjour
je viens tout juste de recommander clink78 à un ami, la proximité de la gare est un atout majeur

location was great
Great position and great place to stay for a relatively cheap price.
Free breakfast, good location, helpful staff.
very nice hostel, definately will lodge again. breakfasts were very nice, and there's big flat block between each beds. Staffs were very friendly also.
Localization
Good location, very close to tube for a great price! It also had a fun bar where it was easy to meet people.
It's was a great location and a friendly and fun atmosphere.
It was very clean and the beds comfy.
Ne vaut pas son prix
The ambience is really nice and feels like a youth cafe atleast in common areas.
As long you are social you will meet interesting people from all parts of the world.Good complimentary breakfast menu to get you started for the day.
Super
I stayed in a private room and it was clean & spacious with bedding and towels included. The staff were very friendly and made an effort to connect with you. The breakfast was nice with a choice of cereal or toast along with tea, coffee, hot chocolate or orange juice.
It has all the essentials, if you're a party traveler this is your place cuz it has its own disco.
facilities, restaurant
Location
The staff are keen and friendly. Plenty of options available.
Génial !
Not much
I stayed in a room with only 3 other people with an ensuite, which was a nice change from bigger hostel rooms. It was fairly quiet.
Friedlich staff. Biker rental (Santander) directly in front of the door
The staff were incredibly on top of things, even as hordes of people swarmed the desk during check-in/out times. One staff member even helped me right away when a laundry machine stole my money. I really appreciated it!
The humble breakfast is also nice, and, if nothing else, you can marvel at the massive amount of toast that people can consume.
Not much.
The breakfast and the location is pretty good
Very fun environment
Super Auberge

Dormitory for 6 people with shower and toilet clean and with the minimum comfort but practical. On the other hand, noise in the corridor throughout the night due to a group of children and young people visibly poorly supervised and despite our complaint at the reception. The living rooms much smaller in reality than in the photos and often full. While the wifi does not go into the rooms ..
The hostel is clean and the beds are comfortable. The curtains allow to have a little privacy which is nice. The weak points: few showers and a noisy area. Remember to take earplugs if you want to sleep. Good value for breakfast.
Very good hostel. Very clean. Nice staff and near the subway
Modern decoration, sober and practical Lack worn coat and towels Lift broken often
Nice hostel, well equipped. Breakfast room dej / bar nice enough Room with the necessary comfort and enough room for everyone
I came 4 years ago, with two classes of 10 year olds. I came back with my husband and my daughters and I have no regrets. Very good value for money, clean and pleasant. Happy to have found someone in the staff who spoke French. Too bad we have seen the last day you were eating at night.
rated youth hostel but rather hotel type: lack kitchen available: no towels.
Very good overall: quality of services and implementation
Recommendable hostel, for the reasons below.
Very good establishment
Superb hostel! I recommend
everything!! really nice backpackers!
Très bonne auberge !
I like the individual washrooms and the huge lockers under the beds. The curtains on each bed also gave you privacy and helped to block out the overhead light.
3rd time I went back to this hostel, no doubt one of best hostel in London. each best has your own curtain so you get more privacy compare to ordinary hostels.
I really enjoyed the design of the place, clean-ish, I think I would preferred if they mopped the floor in the dorms everyday. Showers and bathrooms were clean. It seems like a sketchy area, but I was not hassled. Easy access to the airport. Total time takes about an hour if you don't take the express train. Take Heathrow to Piccadilly Circus, change to the bakerloo line that is going towards elephant and castle. Just a 5 min walk to Elephant and Castle underground, there's also a bus stop right outside as well. Staff was friendly, for the most part!
Nice hostel in such a cool location.
Clean. Comfort.
Very nice location. Nice and helpful staff.
Friendly staff, very comfortable bed, clean hostel, nice common area
Was neat and Tidy, Secure as well.
The staff, the rooms.
safe, Area where its located
Nice, and clean.
Good location, only a few minutes walk from Elephant and Castle underground station and bus stops outside which go to most of the city. Hostel is really nice inside, very clean and trendy looking. Lots of space to chill out comfortably. Rooms were clean and quiet. Bathrooms were really clean and lots of space. Was given a voucher for a free drink when I arrived too!
Very helpfull and friendly staff. The bed got curtains, so if the light is on it didn't disturb you during your sleep.
It is a very good location, 5 minutes walk from the underground station. There are many restaurants/snack bar's around the hostel.
Friendly staff, clean, large rooms and beds with curtains. Probably the best hostel I have stayed
The place is extremely nice for a hostel and is more of a mix of hostel/hotel. The only difference between this and a 4 star hotel are the 8 person rooms. The staff was helpful and friendly and they have a complementary breakfast and bar/lounge area downstairs. In the 8 person rooms, each bed has a curtain for privacy. It was very close to the metro, which can take you anywhere in London.
Recomendado sin duda
Very clean, great value for money, continental breakfast included in the price
Everything I needed for an overnight stay ;helpful and easy check in ,spotlessly clean room ,comfortable bed which actually had curtains I could pull round ,nice continental breakfast and great all round facilities .loved it here .
new hostel, clean and modern
The atmosphere was really nice especially staff's kindness.
That's for sure an amazing hostel!
The bar is awesome
clean, secure, quiet , private , good looking inside and out - suited our family group just fine.
Excellent location, friendly and helpful staff, nice atmosphere, comfortable and safe.

We arrived at night (29/10/17) due to the schedule of our flight. The two people who greeted us were very rude, not warm at all as we arrived with 5 tired children. Moreover, on the site of "hostel" we can not specify the number of children and we do not have the possibility to reserve a complete room. I booked 7 places so I could detail the reservation. On arrival we are told that it is not possible: that people have been dispatched and as they are children it is not possible to put them with other adults than parents. Is. very good, that's for sure, but I thought we were not separating the groups. But the booking site was not suitable? (To do !!!!) and in the meantime it was 1am .... In short, they finally found us a dirty and wet room ss élecricité. Good the next day they caught up: a room for us 7 (while at night they told us that we should find accommodation elsewhere !! (and I was tt settled by internet) In short, not a chic welcome at all but a good catching up which is certainly the manager, otherwise the place is very nice, the dining area pleasant, the lil bit perfect and the population heteroclytes and friendly.Another negative point: the baggage deposit is completely insecure (all the world has access to the code !!) and very dirty, I think we will not come back, but no regrets.
An excellent address to discover London!
Hostel
Well placed, all within easy reach of subway or bus. Showers on our floor a little limit level practicality and hygiene (do not forget his pair of flip flops!) But never needed to wait for washing. Nice atmosphere, cocooning TV and pub available in the hotel.
Nice youth hostel well located and clean. However, it was extremely hot. The window of the room opened little and there was no air conditioning or fan, which made our stay a pain!
Good breakfast and good lounge to meet other backpakers. Location was good too. I recommend.
Great vibes in this London hostel. Good location and full of backpackers.
Very well
Ideal for young people
Quite good
well-staffed , good layout and leisure facilities .
Good location
Cool and trendy, good food in the cafe, very secure and clean
Location, it's located in Bloomsbury, which is surely a beautiful place to explore. There are a lot of bars/restaurants in the area, I went to try a japanese place called "Hare & Tortoise" near the hostel, and the food was sooo good! Definitely recommended. The hostel has cinema rooms, a restaurant, and a pub on ground floor, in case you want to have your lazy day.
Many people ,
It has a good atmosphere, the bar is really cool and you can meet a lot of international people.
It was central, modern and clean!
Super!
Super close to King's Cross, spacious rooms, friendly, clean, lots to do!
the cafe downstairs was really good, I really liked how they had a cinema room where they had movies playing every night- good for some down time
Safe, very clean, lots of facilities, very modern
Good location. Modern. Friendly staff. Nice and social atmosphere. Good wifi. Many electric sockets in the public areas to charge phones/laptops. Spacious personal storage locker under the bed, but you need to bring your own lock (or buy one at the hostel store). Safe and secure building.
it feels like home with friendly staff.
Looked nice
Staff were pleasant.
Cafe and bar excellent service.
Tv room lovely ambiance.
Perfect location and facilities. Large hostel with many rooms and many rooms all the time. Such a quality hotel. Great!
It was clean, contemporary and very secure
Comfy beds, clean and loads of facilities. Close to tube and a short walk to Oxford Street.
